Maintaining the Al-Asr Islamic Centre in Woking and its operation is of paramount importance. The centre requires funds to cover the costs of building maintenance, utilities, and general operations. Your donations helps us maintain our staff and Imams. Although a lot of work is carried out by volunteers, some staff and imams are paid and these same individuals are responsible for either providing spiritual guidance, coordinating activities or managing the center’s day-to-day operations.
Our new outreach and Dawah programme is also aims to engage aim to promote understanding and educate others about Islam. These initiatives involve open centre discussions, interfaith dialogues, educational materials, and community events.
