Al-Asr Islamic scholarship aims to financially aid & support a nominated rising star of the community who has a keen interest to gain deeper knowledge and understanding of Islam.
We help advise the nominated person on how to pursue their Islamic studies and help them gain admission into a reputable global Islamic teaching intuition (also known as a Hawza). This educational funding (scholarship) offered by Al-Asr is specifically targeted towards students studying subjects related Islamic theology, jurisprudence, history, Quranic studies, Hadith (Prophetic traditions), Islamic law and teachings of the Ahlul Bayt (a.s)

The scholarships offered by Al-Asr may be available at various levels depending on age & ability, including undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate levels.
Al-Asr’s Islamic scholarships programme encourages the acquisition of knowledge and expertise in Islamic disciplines, to produce scholars, researchers, and professionals who can contribute to the understanding, interpretation, and dissemination of Islamic teachings.
The scholarship funds cover travel expenses, monthly living cost, tuition fees, research expenses, accommodation, books, and other educational associated costs.
Our programme is open to all Al-Asr members from any background who demonstrate a genuine interest in Islamic studies and show potential for academic excellence in the field.
